If you didn't join us on May 20th for the last supervision meeting, don't worry! Early registration is open for our next clinical supervisor meeting on July 15th, 2022. The topic will be How Clinical Supervisors Can Adjust Their Evaluative Lens by Understanding the “Zone of Proximal Development."

In this meeting, you'll join other clinical supervisors from around the country to work toward your professional development as a supervisor. Led by an expert with 20+ years of experience, Dr. Rosalind (Roz) Polk-Hall, you'll learn about the zone of proximal development and how it can be applied to understanding your growth as a counselor. The webinar is ideal for early, mid, and later-career supervisors.

Additionally, you'll explore how development changes for counselors during their internship to their post-graduate work toward licensure. This course will also address the necessary adjustments for clinical supervisors along that development process. Hold your spot today!

Computer-Assisted CBT

Video Interview

Evidence-Based Computer-Assisted CBT is becoming a respected hybrid option for therapists. Hear what international expert, Dr. Jesse Wright, has to say about his practice and research in this video interview. Dr. Wright cites numerous research studies, including one that found that remission rates were “more than double in people who received computer-assisted cognitive therapy” compared to treatment as usual. See why therapists are embracing technology more than ever in their mental health practices!

LGBTQ+ Counseling Competencies

Video Interview

Hear what LGBTQ+ counseling competencies are most urgent for mental health professionals to learn, and why they matter, in this video interview with social work veteran. Chris talks about his experience working with LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and families, as well as steps you can take to improve your competence!
