    Hi Jodi Murray,
With regard to billing, we are not experts or a definitive source of information, but we have some helpful tips listed in these articles: https://www.telementalhealthtraining.com/tag/billing
Here is another resource about the modifiers needed for telehealth: https://www.mendfamily.com/telemedicine-billing-not-difficult-seems/
Here is a page in particular to Medicare: https://www.cchpca.org/resources/covid-19-telehealth-coverage-policies

Pacific source is telling me that I am not using the appropriate code for billing telehealth services, but refuse to tell me what the correct code is. I am using 90837, place of service as a 2, and a modifier of GT (also tried with 95). They are telling me it is the incorrect CPT code. These are the codes I am using for every other insurance company and they are going through. Can you help me with this?

@Dinora Theresa Shervington, We'd recommend taking a look at this. Many insurance carriers follow Medicare/Medicaid lead on billing for telehealth: https://telementalhealthtraining.com/new-telehealth-guide-for-billing-medicare

However, it is essential to ask each carrier how they want you to bill for telehealth services.

    Hi
Thank you, in advance, for helping me with my questions. I am a LICSW currently providing phone and telehealth in the state of Minnesota. My understanding is that the "place of service code is 02, but do I need a modifier in that? Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give.
