Dr. Kelly Richmond-Moore, DSW, LCSW, PPSC, brings extensive experience and leadership in social work education and behavioral health. As Assistant Program Director and Clinical Professor at the University of the Pacific, Dr. Kelly has advocated for expanding equitable, accessible mental health services and preparing clinicians to work with marginalized populations, including LGBTQIA+ communities.
Dr. Richmond-Moore offers a dynamic and insightful approach, drawing from research and practice experience to equip supervisors with practical tools for affirming LGBTQIA+ staff. This course will support you in identifying challenges LGBTQIA+ clinicians face, developing inclusive supervisory practices, and assessing your agency's culture to promote long-term change.

Instructor
Dr. Richmond-Moore is the Assistant Program Director and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Social Work within the School of Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Richmond-Moore is leading efforts to expand the behavioral health specialization for the social work department, with expansion efforts centering on youth and families in marginalized and underserved areas. Dr. Richmond-Moore is committed to building a workforce of social workers who understand and are prepared to work with vulnerable populations while increasing efforts to provide more accessible services to rural communities.
Dr. Richmond-Moore’s interests include social work education, practicum education, adolescent mental health, school-based social work, LGBTQIA+ communities, gender diversity, and creating equitable resources for dually marginalized social work students.
