📜 New Hampshire Clinical Supervisor Requirements

According to the New Hampshire Administrative Code § Mhp 302.03, to qualify as an approved clinical supervisor, an LCMHC must:

1. Complete one of the following educational criteria:

  • A graduate-level course in clinical supervision.

  • A clinical supervision certificate approved by one of the following organizations:

    • Association for Clinical Pastoral Education

    • National Association of Social Workers

    • American Mental Health Counselors Association

    • American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy

2. Obtain 12 continuing education (CE) hours in clinical supervision prior to entering into a supervisory relationship.
