  • Hold a current LPC license in good standing.

  • Have at least three years of post-licensure clinical experience.

  • Complete one of the following:

    • Obtain the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential from the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).

    • Complete a minimum of three graduate credits in clinical supervision from a regionally accredited institution.

    • 3 hours in social and cultural competence.

    • 1 hour on topics concerning prescription opioid drugs, including the risks and signs of opioid abuse, addiction, and diversion.
