⚠️ Pitfalls to Avoid
Many well-meaning supervisors make mistakes that can result in supervision hours being disqualified. Here’s what to watch for:
Supervisees not being registered properly with the board, making hours ineligible
Improper or missing documentation of supervision hours, types, or frequency
Supervisors not yet approved at the time they begin supervising, invalidating all hours provided
Keeping detailed logs and verifying board approval before starting supervision is essential to protecting everyone involved.
