The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training Event will take place over three live, interactive webinars, to be held on July 10, July 17 and July 24, 2026, from 11am-5pm Eastern Daylight Time each day.

Registration closes at midnight (EST) the day before the first event

While many newer “trendy” approaches have emerged in recent years, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy remains the empirically supported gold standard for treating the wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses encountered by behavioral health professionals today. This comprehensive 15-hour certificate program addresses the specific challenges clinicians face when treating complex cases, providing the evidence-based strategies necessary to move beyond surface-level interventions and achieve lasting clinical results.

By enrolling in this certificate program, you are invited to explore a deeper dimension of CBT that transcends the common misconceptions of “positive thinking” therapy, allowing you to equip your clients with proven, practical solutions for their most enduring problems. This program offers a unique opportunity to refine your clinical toolkit under the guidance of a world-renowned expert, ensuring you can provide the high-quality, ethically grounded care that defines the mission of the Telehealth Certification Institute.

Dr. Jeff Riggenbach, a 3-time best-selling author who trained at the prestigious Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research, brings over 20 years of experience in developing and directing clinical programs for mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. Having trained audiences in all 50 United States and nine countries worldwide, his extensive background and leadership in the personal development space ensure that participants gain a sophisticated understanding of how to apply CBT to even the most challenging clinical populations.

Dr. Riggenbach’s teaching approach focuses on busting the myths that often prevent clients from receiving effective treatment while providing a structured, building-block curriculum that ranges from beginner foundations to advanced clinical adaptations. He combines clinical excellence with innovation, utilizing his expertise as a John Maxwell Team coach and DISC behavioral consultant to help clinicians master the nuances of client socialization, session structure, and the disruption of deep-seated behavioral patterns.

This course covers foundational aspects of the CBT model, including its evolution and new trends, cognitive conceptualization, psychoeducation, and standard interventions. It delves into specific cognitive models for Depression, Anxiety (including Panic disorder, Perfectionism, and procrastination), Anger, and Addiction, while also presenting an integrated approach to treating PTSD. Finally, the training explores advanced adaptations for addressing resistance and treating complex conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissism, Paranoia, and Psychosis.
