This bundle consists of three individual LEGO®-based Play Therapy courses, each of which offers 2.5 CEs. When purchasing this bundle, you will be enrolled in each of the following non-interactive self-study courses and individual purchase is NOT required:

It’s All Focused: LEGO®-Based Play Therapy Techniques

Play therapy practitioners using LEGO® bricks in mental health treatment can help clients enhance communication and problem-solving skills by building models to externalize thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Participants will be introduced to combining directive play therapy with the use of LEGO® bricks to treat children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Utilizing this integrative approach to play therapy can meet the therapeutic needs of clients throughout the therapeutic process from rapport building to termination.

Introspective Brick Building: LEGO®-Based Play Therapy Techniques

Introducing LEGO® into play therapy practice can help individuals improve communication and problem-solving skills by building models to externalize thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Participants attending this LEGO®-based play therapy workshop will acquire creative skills to work with clients on connecting thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be contributing to negative interaction patterns with others. This workshop will discuss theory, research, and practical considerations for implementing LEGO® strategies into play therapy practice.

Implementing LEGO®-Based Play Therapy Online Using Storytelling & Metaphors

Combining the use of LEGOs and metaphors in play therapy practice can break down barriers that interfere with an individual’s ability to communicate problems. LEGOs, metaphors, and storytelling allows play therapy practitioners to access the inner world of clients to help them solve problems. Participants will explore the advantages of using metaphors in play therapy.

Instruction consists of 7.5 hours of video instruction and a post-test.

Course Availability
