Description

As mental health providers, we often prioritize our clients’ well-being over our own in a selfless dedication to their welfare. We push ourselves relentlessly, believing that harsh self-criticism is the key to achieving desirable outcomes for our clients.

But it often comes at the cost of neglecting our own emotional and physical health, which potentially leads to burnout and hinders our ability to provide the best care for our clients.

The Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program is designed to teach us to extend the same kindness we offer clients to ourselves during times of stress and failure.

Developed by Christopher K. Germer, Ph.D., and Kristin Neff, Ph.D., the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program is a research-backed program that combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for building resilience.

It offers clinicians a practical approach to cultivating resilience, enhancing well-being, and elevating their clinical practice through the powerful integration of mindfulness and self-compassion.

Through a series of engaging modules, you will learn to:

  • treat yourself with kindness and understanding, especially during difficult times.
  • cultivate present-moment awareness, and learn to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment.
  • replace negative self-talk with a more supportive inner voice to foster greater self-acceptance and confidence.
  • discover practical tools to manage stress, prevent burnout, and cope with difficult emotions in a healthy way.
  • gain valuable skills and techniques to help your clients cultivate self-compassion and emotional well-being.
  • and more!

Led by Vira Salzburn, an MSC Trained Teacher with extensive experience guiding and helping professionals on their journey to greater well-being, this program dives deep into the fundamental concepts of mindful self-compassion, explores key elements such as connected loving presence, common humanity, self-kindness, and mindfulness, and teaches structured practices to integrate self-compassion into your daily life, such as meditations, experiential practices, and journaling exercises.

Join Vira Salzburn in this comprehensive program and learn how to harness the transformative power of self-compassion into your practice to counteract the effects of compassion fatigue, prevent burnout, and sustain a fulfilling and effective clinical practice.

Register today and embark on a path toward renewing your sense of purpose, leading a more emotionally balanced life, and enhancing your therapeutic effectiveness.
