Description

Clinical supervisors are often responsible for supporting clinicians at varying stages of professional and personal development. As a result, supervisors can miss important factors resulting in unsatisfactory performance or slow development. Instead, they may overly focus on factors that can be remediated if they are not pathologized.

This course is for clinical supervisors and any clinician who is interested in examining the intersection of the following: clinician development, professional growth, and remediation. It highlights the observational and interpretive skills that come into play when supervisors are evaluating the clinical practice and professional skill sets of other clinicians.

This workshop is for supervisors or those considering becoming supervisors.

This is a non-interactive, self-study course.

Instruction consists of 1.5 hours of video instruction and a post-test.

Course Availability

From the time of registration, you have six months to access the coursework.
